Going to be restoring one of these, although it might be a 350 not a 300, I've got to research that a little bit. Tractor is completely missing the hydraulic cylinder for the fasthitch, but it appears that everything else is there.
I need to find out the bore, stroke, and rod size so I can order a new one.
Thanks,
Mr. HE

Here is a link to Messicks Case/IH. It shows either a 2-1/2" or 3-1/2" X 8" cylinder. Object moved
Well..., it didn't take it directly to the page showing the fast hitch cylinders. Click on hydraulic system in the menu at left, and find the one for the fast hitch cylinders.

Thanks, I've saved those links and will no doubt consult them in the future.
I spent over an hour the other day trying to find that information on the web and I could not find it anywhere.:ashamed:
Found several cylinders for sale and messaged asking the size but got no replies. I have a 3-1/2"X 8 sitting out behind the shop, so I'll put some new seals in it and mount it up.

You'll have to click on the pictures of the utility tractors, and it will give 3-4 views of the tractor. Some have FH, some don't. Most do appear to be a 3-1/2". All depends on how well the one you have fits up, and clearance for the hoses.
