OK, I've checked the past posts and I've lurked here many years. I've been checking the AGCO part books and each time I navigate to the right point in the directory structure, I see the lines:
GC2300 / GC2310 TRACTOR EFF. S/N JNA25201
GC2300 / GC2310 TRACTOR PRIOR S/N JNA25201

Now I go look at my tractor, it says "SN L-T3409" I've seen the previous posts about the L being 2002 but then, tonight, looking through the parts lists, I see where they have different 3pt linkages for L and all except L models. Is this something different? Which of the two lines above do I use?

Thanks guys for the knowledge and fun, BTW this one has the genuine ground strap, lots of slack in it too. No tach, front shooting exhaust, already had the MMM wheels fall off, no filter skid plate, steering cylinder bushings are shot resulting in the tilt-wheel effect, FEL valve leaked and replaced the O rings, etc. Still haven't snapped off the lights yet though.

Larry, your serial number sounds funky, but maybe back then they used a different system... The SN should begin with three letters-- the second letter supposedly indicates the year of manufacture. I only have info from 04 on, but they go like this:
N: 2004
P: 2005
R: 2006
S: 2007 (mine, "JSA", followed by 5 digits)
T: 2008

Reading the info you listed, they'd be talking about models made after or before 2004.

Hope this helps.
