None yet, Tc25d anticipated.
Greetings!

Like many of the other people posting messages on this site, I'm new to this business. I have 2.5 acres in Fort Collins, Colorado. The house is new and the lot needs a complete redo landscaping wise. I need to tear out the old, native plants prep the soil and then finally plant new grass. Actually, I'm going to plant two different types of grass for different parts of the lot. And I'm going to leave part of the lot in a more natural form. A large part of the lot is completely bare as the builder scraped the old buildings off the lot. Once all that hard stuff is done, I will be mainly mowing the grass and plowing snow.

As silly as it may sound, I've fallen in love with the TC25d. But I get the feeling that you guys (and gals) understand what I mean.

I've gotten one quote from a dealer in Longmont for a TC25d with a FEL for $16,650. From what I've been reading, that seems ok, but it also seems that some folks are paying about the same and getting a mmm too.

I would appreciate any input that you might have for me.

Thanks,

Bill

P.S. Part of my landscaping plan includes a stone circle. It will definately be different from anything anyone else has around here.

If someone paid that and also got a mmm I'd like to know about it too since that'd mean I paid too much for mine! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

Bill,

Go to the northside of Fort Collins to Ron's Equipment and talk to Perry. I shopped both Longmont and Ron's and bought my TC29D from Ron's. Both are good dealers but Perry did a better deal for me.

Don't forget... With the introduction of the TC24D, I think that there is a high probability that the TC25D will be discontinued... Use that as a bargaining chip...

The TC25 has been discontinued all ready. We can no longer order this tractor. The first TC24's rolled off the production line last week and as a dealer I do not even have prices for them yet.

Bill, can you tell me a bit more about the stone circle you are planning? We finished a 40ft diameter traditional labyrinth last year, thanks in great part to my Boomer. Is that what you are planning? Or just a circle?

Spencer,

Thanks for your reply. I knew it was going to happen, just not when. I guess there's still a few out there. As it stands right now, I'm taking a more serious look at a TC29D and a TC33D. I may have found a fair deal on a TC33D in Fort Collins. Now my wife is starting to have doubts about how much use we would get out of a $20,000 machine.

Thanks again,

Bill

$20,000.00 is very strong price for a tc33d with loader are you getting other attachments?

Hi Spencer,

Yes, there are some implements included. The total price is $21,140. It includes the loader, a box scraper (with scarifier kit), a rear finish mower (72 inch I think), and a canopy. My wife is concerned about how much use we would get out of it. She thinks we might be better off contracting the hard work and then buying a smaller tractor to do the maintenace at a later date.

Thanks,

Bill

That sounds much better to me now.
