So this seems like a place to post this, I consider my iPhone an accessory to my tractor...I'm just curious about your favorite apps you use.

Mine are:

1. Smart Spray Speedometer (free) - GPS speedometer for spraying...no cruise control on my tractor.
2. Pocket Rain Gauge (free) - crazy accurate rain gauge that uses the GPS of my phone. I signed up for a free account with them and can see the rainfall at my where ever I am, my house and my place up in Wisconsin.
3. The Chive (free) - makes me smile
4. Unit Converter (free) - sometimes I cant remember how many pts per qt per gallon.

What are yours?

I have put the incline-o-meter app on the pocket phone. I find i use it in the shop, and in the woods. It's just a number, but the relationships build

Tell me more about this app. For instance, I have a spray job scheduled for this Thursday, and it is 280 miles away. Can I check to see how much rainfall at the job site?

The one I use the most is probably 'My Radar'. It's an accurate and easy to use radar.

I also use 'Waze' when traveling. It's good for giving traffic conditions, but is a little difficult to use, especially while driving.

I have Adobe Acrobat to keep a lot of manuals that I download. The Chive is really good too, but not for tractor work.

Probably....I signed up for the free account, company named Agrible...looks like a Climate Corp. I have my house and my place in Wisconsin saved. It just shows rainfall totals for the past 24 hrs though. Its been within a tenth or so of the electronic gauge on my deck except for big rains (over 2 inches) then it's been within a quarter.

Dark Sky is the best weather app I've used.

DeWalt Mobile Pro for all kinds of calculations.

HoursTracker is what I use as a time card when doing jobs for others.

Mobile Cattle Tracker I use for keeping track of new calves and medical records for the herd.

Genius Scan lets you scan a document to pdf.

Tiny Invoice for billing.

Home Depot app tells me what isle and what bin the things I need are in before I leave the house.

Tractor House and Tractorbynet apps to kill time.

Storm for weather. It's run by WeatherUnderground. Does a good job following you around if you check it so it moves locations with you. Probably the fastest weather warnings of any app for me.

Cattle market mobile I can check the last sales reports for markets all across the country. It has my 3 closest sale barns. If it doesn't have yours you can email and check if it's going to be added. The creator will email you back. He did me. Said one barn was a formatting issue but it's since been fixed. It's the report that is turned into the USDA after every sale.

Cattle visions it's a great way to double check the calving dates.

Notes I log everything. When I fill creep feeders to when calves are born to when I remove the bull or work cows. It syncs with my email.

Cash grain bids. It gives the cash market bids for the 5 closest elevators for the major crops in your area.

Any of the AgPHD apps.

Local news.

Tractor House, Fastline, and TBN. For fun.

Menards, Lowes, and Home Depot to check out prices.

But my most commonly used is probably the calculator.

Have many more. Wife says I have too many apps. Wonder if there's an AA meeting for app addiction.

Here are apps I use for mapping out my property:

Trails - helps me record all my ATV trails. Then I import those files to Google Earth to see my property.
Theodolite - helps me remember where I mounted game cameras, calculate distances between 2 points on my property, etc
SpyGlass - compass with augment reality viewer. let's me mark a coordinate on one part of my property and then when I'm on another part of my property, the viewer points to the direction of the first marked location. So, if I'm in one tree stand I can use the AR viewer to make sure I'm not shooting towards one of the other tree stands on my property (or towards my cabin).

iTunes - gotta have my music while I'm on my tractor (can't use Spotify or Pandora 'cuz I don't have consistent cellular/internet coverage around my property)

Evernote- I use it to keep track of part numbers for filters and other equipment consumables as well as last oil change, etc. I like that I can make an entry on a PC, then review it on my phone when I'm at the store.
