IR BL-275 vs Bobcat B-250

Is an Ingersoll Rand BL-275 the same as a Bobcat B-250? I recently bought a low hour IR BL-275 and am having a hard time locating manuals for it. I can find manuals for a Bobcat B-250 though. The hp, empty weight, and every other spec. is the same, so it would seem that IR simply "badge engineered" a Bobcat B-250, but before I plunk down a bunch of cash on manuals, I thought maybe one of ya'll would know more than me,

I think, IR sold the equipment line to BC, but it didn't go far. I think there was some sort of internal conflicts with other BC products. Or did the sale go the other direction, don't know for sure. The machines do seem to be well made and have good specs. The lack of support is keeping the price down.

Yeah, I don't even think they make these machines anymore. But, I got a sweet deal on it, $13,800 and it only has 280 hrs. It is a very nice machine. I have emailed both IR and BC dealers and gotten no replies. So, I gotta search the parts out myself. As long as I don't abuse it, I shouldn't need more than generic parts, ie. seals, hoses and the like. I have heard the axles are Italian, the hydraulics are German, and of course the Kubota engine. Should be able to source what I need from overseas if needbe.

I think Ingersol Rand bought them from Earthforce. There's been a lot written about them here on TBN.

I bought a IR Bl 375 back in 2006 new at auction. It came with owners manual. I purchased a part's manual for $ 50. bucks at bobcat. I heard this is a pretty fair price for manuals. I don't think you will find them on the Internet. I don't think BOB CAT post's manual on the net you have to buy them. I bought a few parts from Bob Cat they will support the discontinued tractors for 10 years. By Tractor has about 200 hours on it. They are good solid tractors hope you enjoy your machine David

It should be about the same as a EF3 (Earthforce) I have a EF4 and I found a manuel on E-Bay. I think around $40. I am sure you could watch e-bay and you will see one of these backhoes pop up once in a while. Contact the owner and see it he could make a copy of it. (probably illigal). They are not bad little machines. You might contact "jensales.com/manuels"
