JD 5105 quit running I cannot seem to get fuel out of the bleed valve, although it is present, at the input to the injector pump. Fuel bleeds fine at the filter. Leaking air somewhere?

Possibly a collapsed fuel line between the filter and the injection pump. You may not be able to see it as collapsed if there is an internal separation in the hose. Also, there may be I kink in the line preventing fuel from flowing. :2cents:

Thanks for the response Dave! The line between the filter and pump is steel...I did find that the connection on that line at the injector pump was slightly loose. I tightened it but it didn't help. I'm wondering if that line is cracked? What confuses me is that fuel is present in the line but I can't prime the pump to make fuel come out of the bleeder. I removed the upper portion of the bleeder pump (at filter) and everything there was clean as a whistle.

verne,

Not sure where to go with that. I'm not familiar with the JD. My BX2350 has flexible lines from tank to filter to primary pump to filter to injection pump.

Only other question, does the JD have an electric fuel pump between the tank and the injection pump? Just asking.
