For those with yard, garden and other irrigation, what type irrigation parts do you use? I know the box stores have their favorites, but I have several parts to replace and want to get something that will last a while.

When I insallted everything, I used a place out of Texas and ordered from them. Via phone and email they were most helpful. They sold Nelson products at that time, so that is what I have now. Need to replace a few rotating broadcast sprayers, valves, and rerun some piping. One problem I have had with the Nelson valves: Two or three began to never close, so they were always on when the system was running. That does not work so good.

I used Berry Hilll before those wobbler heads they sell are pretty slick

I got my sprinkler heads from here

I have used Hummert. They have a good catalog with lots of supplies but the web site is not user friendly. Its better to have them send the catalog.

I just use what is at the box stores, Rainbird, Hunter, Orbit etc. That way I can usually find an exact replacement part with short notice. I find some variation in how various brands of sprinklers work, especially the pop-up rotating sprinklers so I prefer to stick with the same brand/type. This may be due to my system running off a pond based pump and is not as 'high pressure' as city water.... or as clean.
