Is #1 cylinder on a continental alwas in the rear?

No,haven't had time to work on it. Last time we were going to, the starter messed up again,so had to stop and fix that. We'll get back at it one of these days. I still haven't been able to find anyone who could tell me if #1 is in the front or the back. Sure haven't been able to accomplish anything timing it to #1 on the front.
