Kubota BX2200
Hello, first time posting. What a great site. I have a Kubota BX 2200 and have been pretty happy with it. I have the front bucket which I never remove so that, in addition to the general weight of the tracor, should work well for a tiller. Someone is offering me a Land Pride "15-58" (their description) tiller for $1400 which appears to be in pretty good shape. This one is red in color and looks to be about 4-5 yrs old according to the owner.

Any feedback - I went to the Land Pride site and noticed they offer an "RTR" and an "RTA". Is this a good price if it is in good shape? Will my Kubota handle this OK? Any tips and advice are appreciated. I plan on planting a pretty big garden (1-2 acres) over the next couple years and want to eliminate as much back-breaking work as possible.

Thanks

Tim,

I have that same tiller and it has been great since I bought it in 2001. I have a L3000DT with 27 PTO HP. I got mine new for $1750 including shaft with slip clutch, so I would guess its worth $1000-$1200?

Just off the top of my head I would think it may be too large for your machine, but check LP's website to see what PTO HP are required.
