Is a Woods 84HB Box Blade To Big For A L3540??

I'm wondering if a Woods 84HB is to big for my L3540? I found on fairly new one for a nice price but just thinking is might be to much for that size machine. Please let me know what you think.

I have an L3240 with R1s, GST (Gear) and no cab. I'm using a Cammond 66" and it's well matched to my machine - any bigger and I'd start losing traction. I'd say 84' is really too big for your machine unless you plan to just use it lightly. Look for a 72", if you can stand to pass on this one.

I bought a "72" woods box blade for mainly snow removal on my 3540 and now I think I should of gone bigger but my main use is for snow. I think for dirt use Kubota says to get a "66" but that won't cover my back tires which are R-4's So I got a "72"

Well, 7 foot wide, 1200lbs and a 30 cubic foot capacity, I would say that it would be a real good match for an M series tractor. You should be looking at something in the 66"-72" width range and about 800lbs I would think.

I'm going to hold off until I can find a good used 72"

I own one of these, and can sayit does a very good job. If the price was right I would try it out. You can always sell it later if it doesn't fit your needs.

I said I had a woods, I don't have a woods, I have a bush hog sbx series "72" which is the middle of the road and weighs 550 lbs. I must of been tired!
