Is box blade the right tool?

I need to do site prep for a garage and barn. Both sites are pretty flat already, and _almost_ level, so any grading to be done is minimal but I have no experience with a BB so I'm not sure it'll get the job done if I have to go deeper on one end to level the site. Is there something in particular I need to look for in a BB that'll make site leveling easier (as opposed to grading my driveway, for instance)? I'm imagining a tilting BB that would allow me to flatten the high end of the site, instead of just riding parallel to the ground.

Actually a box blade is the exact tool you need for this type job… Don’t know if you are working with sandy soil, clay, (you may need rippers) rocks… regardless you will become pretty good with your BB rather fast, /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Considering your username. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Your right side 3ph lift link should be adjustable to allow you to angle the blade. I have found that with practice, and timing the rise and fall of the 3ph, you can anticipate when to raise and lower the blade and not have to look back so much.
