eBay/Craigslist Is buying/selling yanmar compacts banned from ebay?

I have a Yanmar 2000 and love it, but someone told me that ebay banned yanmar auctions. Anyone know if this is true or not? Thanks in advance for any info.

They have banned auctions of grey market Yanmars. If it was built originally for sale in the US, then it is allowed (3 digit model numbers). I've seen greys get through though if the seller never says it is a Yanmar. Some will say it is just a Japenese compact tractor or they will do something like say Yan mar, with a space in there.

Some sellers also put a different brand of gray market tractor up for sale and then show a row of yanmars in the background.
