In Nevada, the license plates belong to you, not the vehicle. So when you sell a vehicle, you keep the plates....

Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of good solutions any more. CL is nothing but scammers, and Facebook? I’d rather take my stuff and my money to a fiery grave than sell my soul and do anything that helps Facebook. If there really is an antichrist he goes by the name Mark Zuckerberg.

I use Tractor House. You pay up front for the ad but the people answering it are not scammers. Just sold a NH square bailer. Asking 11, got 11.

I hate FB myself but around here Marketplace is where everyone has moved to. It went downhill when they did an upgrade and have the shipping option. It defaults to the shipping option every search so you have to change it to local pickup only. I do like that it's a local buyer seller I can see we may have mutual friends. Easy to find out if the person is a flake or not.

I have been working CL just fine around here. there is another thread going elsewhere on TBN about this too. I sold a unch of stuff this past yea and bought a used Bridgeport off CL. It is working so far in the upper midwest. I won't give FB the time of day as I will not support companies that censor normal views like they do.

Still works for me, too. Just sold a 1972 Ford 2000 and 5 attachments as a package for a friend/customer. It worked out very well.
Just seems like you have to “pay the price” of these scammer creatures, who virtually no one believes are real, to list your items.

I remember running ads in the classifieds of the local newspaper. Always trying to limit the # of words.

Years ago I read that newspapers were a dying breed. They mentioned that CL might be the final nail in the coffin due to the loss of their classifieds revenue.
