I see the following facts:
*Sales incentives ($800) offered on 4110 and 4115.
*New 2305 and 2520 seem to be same tractors as 41xx series was.
*If you look at the JD webpage, you will see the new 20 series link, and following it and comparing the tractor model numbers you can clearly understand the horsepower by the model designation. for instance: 2210 is 23 hp, 2305 is 24 hp, 2520 is 26 hp, 3120 is 29 hp, 3320 is 32 hp. The 41xx just doesnt fit in to this scheme.
It all adds up to we will not see the 41xx offered next year. This would not bother me too much but the 2520 (about equal to a 4115) uses a new loader, so if a guy had an idea to add a second 41xx frame tractor to the toybox, 'cause it would accept all the same attachments like mower and loader, that path will soon be gone.
Anybody have any inside info? I havent called the dealer yet. Maybe I will do that now.
