Traction Is Kubota L3200 HST at 4 wheel drive all the time?

Well, this is the HST model, so there is no 4WD shifter and no 4WD lever. I do know about the differential pedal, but that is not what I am asking about. And based on how I feel, it appears that the tractor is rear wheel driving. The only lever available is the one that puts the tractor in front wheel drive (according to manual which I already consulted but mentions nothing about the subject). Any ideas will be appreciated. It makes no difference if you have HST or gear drive, the 4 wheel drive selector is the same and either has front wheel drive connected or disconnected. If disconnected only the rear wheels will pull. If you have a front end loader, put it down on the ground so the front wheels are off the ground then back up allowing the FEL to skid on the ground. If the front wheels are not turning it is in 2 WD, then move your selector switch, nob or lever and watch the front wheels turn (or not)

I don't have HST, but unless I'm very wrong, your rear wheels always pull. When you engage front wheel drive they will pull also, thus making 4wd.

Yep, this is correct. It is either the rear tires driving or in 4x4.

When the lever is engaged, you are in four-wheel mode. That said, when operating in four wheel mode, only one rear and one front wheel is really providing locomotion. With differential lock engaged, both rear wheels and one front wheel is providing locomotion. Hence, the term "four- wheel drive" is a bit of a misnomer.

There is a handle you pull up and push down near your left leg. Do you see the label showing the tractor drive line with the front wheels disconnected? If I remember it is pull up on the T handle for 4wd and push down for 2wd.
