I bought a used 4130. It has not been gently used. Most of the retention pins are replaced with nuts and bolts or bent nails. Not clear when the thing was lubricated; but not withing recent history I suspect. The support around the steering wheel is solid duct tape. But the pieces that most need attention are the pieces that interface the tractor hydraulic arms to the loader.
They are badly bent up and are bent up away from the loader. The loader is also bent somewhat where these attachments are made. I am attaching a few pictures of the area. I have no idea what replacement parts would cost at this point. As things are now, I can not get the loader to actually be level with the tractor. It hangs at a significant slant.
Is it feasible (e.g., make sense) to try to straighten the bent pieces? It would seem to need some hydraulic jacks or something. I would probably try to find someplace to take it for the work. Or maybe buy some tools from Harbor Freight.
I am concerned that if I took the pieces somewhere, they might use a torch to heat the metal before bending. Would that heating ruin the characteristics of the steel?
