Is STIHL MS 500i worth the wait?

I couldn't wait and bought a 462 last fall. I can't see how the 500 could be better. If it is it would be worth the wait

I have the MS441 mtronic. Not a fan of a carb you can't twiddle with but it is one fine cutting machine.

He's not looking hard enough. Used ones are on ebay and new non-oem parts are on other sites including Amazon

I would like one.

I had a nice Stihl MS 461 until I accidentally drove over it with my skidder. That was a very sad day, and yes...I might have said some bad words when that happened. It was the only saw I ever had where you did not have to wear earmuff's with the chainsaw...when that saw was cutting wood, it was so nice, it was like angels in heaven were singing.

I bought a Husky 562 as a replacement, but it is just plain junk, and on so many levels. But it is out in the woods everyday...ever since I gave up on it and threw it over the brush pile, that is just where it is; that is!
