Is the bad canopy guy back?

Hi Guys:

I was just cruising over at The Compact Tractor Board. When I came across a new post under the "John Deere Owning And Buying" forum, entitled "Wanted". There is a post there describing an ad from a Brett Burnes, who maufactures custom canopies, and how the guy posting the message just ordered one.
Is this the same guy that several of you referred to as Burnie? who may have defrauded some of you, by not supplying the canopy or refunding your money. If this is please respond so that others may be forewarned of theses apparent fraudulent practices that occurred in the past.
If this is not the same person. Then here and now I would like to apolagize to Brett Burnes for any discretions contained herein.

After sifting through some old posts here, I have no doubt that they are the same person and have put a post to that effect on the CTB. The phone numbers listed in our "Bernie's" profile are the same as the one give on CTB. I'm not sure how the guy on CTB contacted him to order one. All of Bernie's posts, both here and on the CTB, were made around the same time, July of 2001. There are NO follow up posts by him on either board after it was brought into question about those units that had been ordered and not delivered and none of the internet phone number lookups have info on that phone number. I guess it could be an unlisted number.

Thats the same guy and he still has my money. Hope he doesn't get anyone elses. He's a crook. I tried to trace him in numerous ways and could never find him.
