So, I'm looking for an app that can show me mowing speed and total acreage mowed.

I found farmers app but being an old codger did not find, locate or see these type of features.

Well, I have an app that will allow you to determine total acreage mowed. Welcome to FindLotSize.com. Simple to use - thankfully for me - also allows you to determine distance.

And if you are good - measure a distance from point X to point Y on the land you are mowing. OK - then go out and mow that exact same line. How long did it take? Do the math and you can end up with miles per hour.

Here is a link to a John Deere page about their mowing app HERE . Some inf from this page says: The iOS version of MowerPlus allows the user to "Mow Now" and track mowing metrics. Users can view a summary of the current mowing session with average speed, area covered and other real-time statistics. Additionally, an aerial view of the mowing path for each session can help homeowners diversify their pattern to protect turf health. The app also lets homeowners know how long it has been since they last mowed.
Lots more about it and where to get it is at that link. While I have a toro zer turn and not a JD I installed it on my IPhone and just made up a S/N and picked one of their available models to complete the setup and get to the mow now screen. Haven't tried the mow now yet but it sounds like does what you are lookin for.

Heck I wanted to know my speed on my Mitsubishi MT180D so I used my Garmin GPS for a ride.
Got my speed in KPH as well as MPH.

My model had vehicle and walking settings,

Been working on BIL house ( a Harvey recovery project) and am so far behind my own projects. but sure am looking forward to test all these out.
