I have all my posts in for my pasture and am ready to hang the wire fencing. Is there a preffered method for rolling this stuff out, keeping it tight?

Thanks
Wade

I'm just a n electrical lineman but when we string wire ( many times over a mile at a time we have rollers on top of each pole or choked to the side of the pole for the nuetral. we then put a pea line (1/4 " nylon rope) up the pole thru the dolley and down the pole and staple. When we have a rope on each pole we start at the first pole and pull a solid pea line thru the dolleys useing the pieces we stapled to the poles. When its all thru and we didn't accidentley go under a phone line or any thing else we pull the bull rope or winch line thru, then we pull the wire in. We deadend the wire at one end and pull it tight with a chain hoist (jack) and cumalong (grip) on the wire to proper sag and tension. if its hot work we have hotstick hoists. For a fence you could put small pulleys just large enough for the wire to pass thru. when pullying to tension the wire will just roll thru the pulleys.
