1) I have read that some implement attachments operate better using the float position on the 3point. However it seems that the B7510HST does not have one. Can anyone with this tractor tell me if I am missing something or is there another way to make an attachment float when using a bush hog over bumpy terrain or when backing it up a short steep hill?

2) Another area I am concerned with is when I go up a short steep hill from my driveway to the field, there's no problem with the tractor making it up OK but with the bushhog sticking out the back, the middle to back of the brush hog bottoms out and drags on the rocked driveway for a way even when I have the 3ph up all the way. Then as soon as I go over the top, of course the bush hog stops dragging. Will this cause any problem to the PTO, brush hog or the 3ph?

The 7510's 1/4 inching valve does allow you to move the control all the way forward which is basically a 'float' for your 3-point. In this position your attachment can 'float' with the grade.

On your next question; I do not think you are going to hurt much as long as you take it slow and your bush hog is not digging dirt.

There is no hydraulic down pressure. I consider this to be a "Float" situation. I don't use a bush hog, so I don't feel your pain in that respect. My back blade just glides along with the lever in the full forward position.
