Is this a deal or dud???

OK, I just got a new quote to confuse me even more (same dealer I was quoted fro before)

4310 4wd eHydro R4's: $14979
300cx Loader: $ 3395
MX5 Cutter: $ 1759
5' Frontier box blade: $ 509
--------------
Total Pkg $20, 642

Of course, now I am completely confused (eHydro vs ePowerReverser). What's a man to do? I have never owned a tractor before, so I am not "used" to anything. Will the eHydro cause me any problems? Will I miss the HP you give up with the eHydro? I am glad they were able to quote me the CX loader for only $126 more. What do y'all think?

I do know one thing for sure: he can give me 84 month financing, which means the hydro is only $14/month more, so the cost would not be an obstacle

84 months! What interest rate are you getting? I got 36 months at 0% from Deere.

84 months at 4.9% They only do the 0% for 24 months, 1.9% for 36 months, 3.9% for up to 60 mos, and 4.9% thereafter. I really need to keep my payments low, so I am looking at the longer terms. I figure I can always make extra payments down the road, which will lower the effective rate.

See if the dealer has something with a reverser and something hydro that you can compare. Were it me, I would go hydrostatic. They don't rob too much power and, in my mind, they are more convenient: you have your hands free to operate your bucket and steering.

I bought one from my local dealer a bit less than you are being quoted:
I have just the epower reverser and got it for 14,900
the 300CX they sold to me for $3100

Sounds to me like they are doing you a good job, but my dealer may have cut it a bit thinner. Hope those numbers give you some comparison.

Drive both of them. Most people like hydro for ease of operation. I prefer the feel of gear with an e-revers or a shuttle shift.Honestly you could debate pros and cons for days,but its pretty useless. Just see wich one you like better and if they are the same to you and money is no biggie,than you would probably be happier with hydro.As for the price,it doesnt sound bad...... but there have been several on TBN TO SAY YOU SHOULD BE GETTING ATLEAST %15 off list price. You give up roughly 10% but you can make better use of the power you have left.

The eHydro setup (eMatch OS) doesn't cause problems, it solves problems.

As far as your deal, I think it looks pretty good especially if they're going to load the rear tires with RimGuard as part of the loader price. Having the highest capacity loader won't make a lot of difference w/o having the tires loaded, just easier to flip the tractor. I would consider adding the 3rd SCV & mid PTO to increase the functionality of the tractor for implements that you'll be adding later. Also, if you plan on running in dry brush/fields get the spark arrester for it. It runs about $15.
