Is this a good price?

Looking at a B2630HST TLB with both 12" and a 24" bucket, canopy, r-4's, and 176 hours.
Asking price is $17,900.

New to tractors and have a few questions. Not sure how long I will own a tractor
and would like to get one that will be easy to resell when the time comes.

-Is $17,900 a fair price for this tractor?
Just added up the price of a 2620 with comparable equip. to a total of $25,700 without discount, delivery and labor fees.

-Are TLB's more difficult to resell that a tractor with on a FEL?

-Are "most" buyers today looking for a tractor with R4 tires?

-Can a canopy be removed without showing scratches and damage from
the mounting hardware? Looks to be mounted on the ROP and on both sides
of the steering wheel, as well.

-Any suggestions on a transport company for moving the tractor-about 13 hours away.

Hey Jodebg, I dont know if its a good price but, 176 hrs is about an average year for most folks, (100 - 200 hrs) and R4's are probably the most common tire, (a hybrid that are more aggressive than turf tires but not as much as AG tires). The backhoe can be sold if not required, for probably $3K - $5K, lots of folks looking for used in good shape. A canopy will probably leave some sign it was there, merely from the vibration wear at the mounting points, and re: transport, I would rent or borrow a 3/4 ton truck and a 16' tandem axle trailer and go for a ride.
