Is this a good (toothbar) fit?

I recently bought a toothbar for my 48 inch FEL. I'm getting ready to attach it, but the "attachment tab" on one side looks like it may be bent inward a tad, potentially giving me a sloppy fit.

Would any of you folks that have 'em take a look and let me know what you think? (I'll post right side first, then left.)

When you bolt it on, it'll draw that tab right in, no worries.
Or put a washer behind it, if it's severe.

both sides of mine look that far out, never been a problem. With 1/2 inch bolts, it is not going anywhere.

Like Inspector507 said, that's no problem. The bolt and nut will pull it right over there solid against the side; at least it did on mine.

When I got my Markham, I had to bend the tabs inwards to clear the sides of the bucket. The tabs are 1/2" steel, no big deal tho, when I bolted everything up the torque of me pulling on the wrenches straightened them to where they should be. Youl'll be fine. I don't think I'd worry too much about it. You could always pound it straight if you wanted. It's really your call.

On a somewhat related topic, I might suggest that you put your bolt through from the outside of the bucket and, after you put on your washer, lock washer and nut if there is any remaining exposed thread on the bolt put another nut on to cover and protect the threads.

Doing so will allow you to easily remove and reinstall your toothbar when you need to without fighting damaged threads. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
