Even if it cost $1000 to ship, it would make for fast lawn mowing on my 11 acres.
The website says the opening bid met the reserve, so this could be a steal for someone with a use for it.

Interesting site. I've never been there before and after looking around found some really good prices on some of the auctions that are too far away from me to be of any good. I book marked it and plan to check on it from time to time to see what might come up in my area. There are a few things that I want, and a few things that I might buy if the price is right.

This auction is near me but 11' is a bit much.

When going to the seller's website the mower does not show up in their inventory for sale.. Something may not be legitimate.

Three hours to the end of bidding the price is $1600. Many online auctions get bids at the last moment, trying to freeze out other bidders. See this happening all the time on E-bay.

Why bid early it only lets someone know your looking.Gov Deals . com is the same way great deals until the last 60 seconds adds 3,000 dollars to the price. At Gov Deals you can look at the bidding history and see most deals closing at around seven seconds left to bid. Some use a automatic extension feature which keeps the bidding open for three minutes after the final bid. If this was how cheaply stuff sold I would be out of backyard space and be heading to court again.
