Is this RTV900 Kubota farm equipment?

Hi, Can people drive this RTV900 Kubota on the road? Does this vehicle be considered by the state to be farm equipment?

Good question. I think it would be a question of how it was being used. You would need to have the SMV Tri-Angle mounted on the back. If it were two guys with their guns going hunting I don't think it would fly. If it were two kids going to visit a friend, that might be another zero but if you were pulling a farm wagon with hay or had a sprayer mounted in the back going to your farm down the street I think they would allow it.

I think it's a gray area so it will depend on how the officer interpets your use of the vehicle.

In NH even farm tractors are registered for the road. A farm plate cost around $12.00 and you could register an ATV or RTV as farm equipment. But like it was stated before , you can't joy ride with it.

Because my tractor has a backhoe, Mine is registered as Construction equipment.

I have CE on my plate instead of AG

In Michigan they are considered farm machinery and can be driven on the road provided you have a "slow moving" sign mounted on the back.
