All work knives have some off the same patent, but Mora knives have the best button attachment.

Mora makes good stuff!

I've had my Mora ice auger for maybe 50 years?

I just bought another one at a flea market/junk store last year because it was in like-new condition and I couldn't bear to see it sitting there all alone. :)

An interesting way to carry a knife. Probably more secure.

I carry a little spring assist blade (4 inches or so) for boxes and the like, and a multi-tool if I know I'm going to be around machinery and the like. What you're carrying is more like a fixed blade hunting knife, or what I'd call a belt knife (For hopefully obvious reasons :D)

The only thing I've seen carried like that is either a thigh holster for a pistol or a Silky saw on an arborist.
