Bolens Iseki H1502
I have a line on a 18148 snowblower for sale, its the BIG 48 inch two stage, I was thinking of mounting it on my H1502. Anyone know how these large two stage blowers lift on the Iseki's? I previously modified a single stage 42 inch Bolens to my tractor, I had to change the rotation of the gearbox, cut and weld the sprocket end and all to do it, but I managed to fabricate it well, and it works great.

The two stage blower im looking at does not have a place where the hydraulic cylinder would lift it in front like my 54 inch plow and modified single stage blower does, that is what has me wondering, it appears to lift from under it some how, maybe if I used the 3pt hitch?

Anyone have an idea or photo of their 152 or 154 or h1502 with a two stage front mounted blower?

I don't have a picture handy but I have looked at attachments
for my G154 and one of the pictures of a snow blower attachment
was lifted with the 3 point. It had a pivot point in the
linkage between the 3 point and the frame of the blower.
This pivot was like a Z so when you lowered the 3 point
the blower would lower and when you raised the 3 point
the blower went up. If I find the pictures I have I'll
post them.

Thanks a bunch, that is exactly how I figured it would lift, if you have pictures you could post that would be excellent. Im going to have to fabricate the lift assy. but shouldnt be too hard off of a photograph if you have one. Im going to pick this blower up tomorrow, I decided it was worth a gamble.

Good luck and let us know how it turns out. There was another member on here that had an 18148 on a TX tractor. He said it worked great. I wanted him to post a video of it in action but he disappeared shortly after a couple of posts. I don't believe Bolens ever shipped out a TX tractor with a two-stage blower on it. They recommended a TS tractor at a minimum for the 18148. They also made some lighter two-stage units for the non-import tractors and used the 18148 on their large frame garden tractors as well. The lighter two-stage unit (I don't recall the model #) would be a great match for the TX tractors but I think the rotation was wrong (sound familiar?) Seems like you're in a good area for a heavier blower if the weather patterns stay the same in the coming years. Of course those who lived in Buffalo this past winter would find even the mighty 18148 not up to the challenge - where do you begin to shovel out 6' of snow at once?!?!
