iseki pto question

i have tl3200d , there is a control switch for pto clutch located by the ignition, could someone tell me if this is a reostat or switch, and where i might get a new or used one? thanks leon2

That is just a switch. Turn it one way it turns on the pto, turn it the other way and it will run the pto when the three point hitch is down and turns it off when the hitch is raised. The only way to engage the pto softley is to idle the engine. Their also a switch up on the dash on the left to control the pto after you set the first switch......Larry

hello larry. thank you for the info. my pto seems to stop with an auger on it gets the hole down a couple of feet, when you pick it up it starts again like the pto clucth is slipping. would you have any idea why? thanks leon2

My tractor is a TL3200F I would think it should be the same. does yours have a lever on the transmision tunnel that is for soft start. I dont think it does but if their is one it has to be all the way on. Just a guess but I would say it is the clutch slipping. Make sure the 3 speed PTO is in 1st gear or the slowest speed. thanks again for the info larry. if i could i would like to ask a couple of more questions. on the small box on the fender that levels the 3 pt there are 3 switches. the center one levels the 3 pt, but the other 2 are broken off. would you know what thier function is? also there is a metal lever about 4 inches long to the right side of the ignition. could you tell me what it does? i can't find a manual for this tractor, and your information has been very helpful. thank you very much.

The small box is controls for a computer that worked with the japan rototiller. some say when thes brake that is when they sell to america. If you can work the tilt that is about all you can do with that box. My tractor seems to be different with the lever. My tractor has lever under the ignition that will rase the 3 point hitch with out moving the levers beside the seat. Some people have found theis wth out any linkage hooked up. I use a manual for a white field boss 2-32. This tractor will be different in the PTO and controls for it. I get filters and other parts at agco. Agco dont like people with Iseki tractors so I dont tell them that is what I have. I just take in the old parts and tell them it is a 2-32. Mine is also different in the hydrolic pump drive. This is all I have found so far..... Larry

hello larry, this is leon again. i think i am going to have to repair the pto clutch on my tl3200f. is the white field boss 2-32 the same and do you know where i could find repair manual? any help is appreciated.

I think the 2-32 has a one speed PTO and might have a different control valve on the PTO. That is the only difference I know of. I have never worked on a PTO. I use a I&T shop manual for the 2-32 I bought off of ebay. So far the only problem I have had was the hydraulic pump drive chain "ouch". The 2-32 uses a gear drive. I am sure their are othe differences but you should get a good start with one of these manuals.........Larry
