Mowing Iseki SF303 out-front mower - Any opinions?

I am in the market for a front-cut mower and have an Iseki SF303 on offer to me. I am really not familiar with these machines and wonder if anyone has any experience with them, or an opinion to offer?

I am also looking at a Kubote F2560 front-cut mower. It is available for the same price, but is two years older, has a few more hours (2,150 vs. 1,900), and has only 25 horsepower (the Iseki has 30).

The Iseki seems to offer more bang for the buck, but is the Kubota really the better long-term buy? Opinions are welcome.

I,ve never Heard of Or seen one of either , I Had to Google it, looks Like a Pretty good rig really . I Would Guess the Biggest think would be Parts availability for the Iseki .

I Have 2 tractors & So far have had No need for any Hard Parts YET , & I Understand they can Be Ordered from China By Some Folks on this site, Not sure if These are Different or not . Best of luck Whichever way you Go . Bob

Hi Bob....I have a problem with my email..and have not been able to get back to U...I managed to get a cheap but missing a lot of parts finish mower...got it it for $200 cdn I was able to buy 3 new blades for $50 cdn as they were missing..its a 60"( 5') Wayco/Douglas finish mower...I only needed a 48" at most but beggers can't be choosers...it's also missing the 2 drive belts and belt guards/side direct guard...right and left axel for the swivel wheels....and yes.... the 4 air swivel tires were not there....I was able to get 4 wheels today for $40 v/s the $80 they want for each original swivel wheel they are for gates but will work out just fine....I'm sorry I had to get back to U on someone elses thread..my opoligies are in order to the other party as well...get back to me when U have time.....AMPA

NP , Al , Good to here from You again, I Sent You a PM, with My Email addy Again, if You get it Sorted out . . I Got a Near new 6 foot Landpride Finish Mower on Craigslist for 500 Bucks , Makes a Big Difference from My old 5 foot Caroni that I,m now Trying to sell . heres a Pic of The Old one . She,s a Lil Rough around the Edges , But I Use My stuff perty hard . Bob

Hi I am a groundsman for a college and we have had an Isiki SF303 front cut mower for 5 years now and it has been a great mower, keep it clean and don't over fill diff oil, I installed a better air filter system as these mowers "apparently" are proned to dusting? I would say take it if it's in good nick. The only thing I am not happy about is it's weight 3/4 tone, to heavy for the amount of rain we have had of recent, (North QLD).
