Iseki TL 2500 oil presure???

Hello Something happens with my lovely Iseki TL2500, the oil presure(red lamp) suddenly did switched on last time when I used it. lamp switching on when the engine is warmed up only! When it is cold lamp lightening stops lighting. I did measured the oil presure and found that in cold engine the presure is 2kg/cc and when it's warmed up, presure falls down to 1kg/ccI don't know how much should be normal presure for this engine? And where the problem could be? Just malfunction in oil presure sensor or something worst like oil presure pump malfunction?

I have a TL 2300. I don't know where you are that measures like you do but in the USA we measure with PSI. Pounds per square inch...........Anyway my tractor several years ago gave funny readings with the oil pressure lamp/indicator. When I would engage the PTO or put stress on the engine the light would come on........I changed over to a manual pressure guage and when cold I get 70 PSI at 1500 RPM and 40 or so at 800 RPM. When warm/hot I get 50 to 60 and it falls down to 25 or so at idle.............Hope this helps......God bless.....Dennis

DennisArrow We are not familiar with metric. But if you google oil pressure gauges images find a combo gauge (metric kPa and PSI) you will be able to convert PSi that Ampa referred to to kPa that you are familiar with.

I'm referrin' to what the gauge reads....I not certain if it's in standard measures or metric....I'm from the old school I like to stick with standard measures......mine after it warms completey stays around 40 on the gauge.. in my opinion I think that is excellent..I just sold my ol' ISEKI couple days ago....but I'll still come on here to try and help as much as I can.....I loved my ISEKI and TBN.... they are a great little tractor.....Ampa :thumbsup:

Thank you for that you providing your "know how".
My gauge is from Isuzi and fits perfect, I mean oil presure sensor and it pointing about 40psi when cold and falling down to the 20psi when hot.
Obviously there has some problem with the presure.
I will post again when got some news.

Peter.......Actually what you have is NOT bad oil pressure......Try getting a new oil pressure sensor and see what your light does.......God bless......Dennis
