I am sure that many of you have searched out places to get parts for tractors. I have and Iseki TL1900 and have been learning about the Grey tractor market. In one search I made looking for some engine parts I learned that the Iseki TL 1900 was made with an Izusu 3AF1 enging. I was looking for a fuel filter and happened on a diesel shop in Michigan that has been a great deal of help. It is a mom & pop operation but the husband was a diesel engine mechanic for GM and they seem to know their stuff. Anyway, I'm passing along the link, she is bringing and air filter in from Japan and I just received the fuel filter from Japan. If anyone happens to know, the fuel filter was an open end cartridge with seals and and O ring. However, the bowl is way too long. The filter cartridge I took out had a solid metal base to prevent fuel from going unrestricted up the center of the filter. This replacement from Japan does not and the only thing I can see is the bowl that was put on someplace is just too long. I could replace the cartridge with one that has the solid plate on the bottom, but there is nothing to keep the cartridge from coming off the pipette other than friction. There is about and inch between the bottom of the current cartridge and the bottom of the bowl. The bowl has a plastic mounting sleeve for the cartridge, but not the one from Japan.
Can anyone add anything.
