Recently I have been working on a ISEKI TS 2205 that builds up oil in the rocker cover, IE. it does not drain back into the sump. Then once it has completely covered the drain holes it gushers it out it filler hole.
This tractor has only done 1,071 hrs.
This I believe is caused by:
1. Excessive blow-by (crankcase pressure)
2. The inability of the drain holes (partially blocked by the push rods) to allow the oils return to the crankcase.
3. No independent crankcase breather. (If anyone knows of a crankcase breather please let me know)
The remedy, short of new rings etc. is obviously to restrict the amount of oil feeding the rocker shaft. Or installing a crankcase breather. But if anyone has another suggestion I would be interested to hear from you.
