Hello i need parts for my tu1700, the power lift has play in one of the lifting arms,i suspect the internal bush has failed the other side is ok ,could anyone help me locate the parts,i also need a repair manual ,i live in southern spain , regards Rob

i i have started stripping the shaft out but im not sure if i can remove the main housing without causing any problems as i have no manual as yet ,has any body stripped one of these before ,or can help me regards Rob

I have never worked on, nor am I familiar with the TU1700 but the rock shaft housing on most tractors is a simple affair to take off. Usually it's obvious what bolts need to be removed around the outer housing and take any obvious lines, mounts, etc off and it should lift straight up/off the machine. It will be pretty heavy and may need some gentle tapping to loosen it. A cherry picker or a partner may help in getting it off but it certainly isn't so heavy one man can't lug it around after it's loose. The inner workings are pretty basic and straight forward. As far as parts and manuals, I'd try Len Sheaffer at Sheaffer's Town & Country Tractor
