Iseki TU1700 shows good hydraulic lift pressure but fails to lift

Good fluid levels all round, and previously working fine, just does nothing now. oddly, if you drive the tractor around for a while with the lift lever up, it eventually does lift, but not in one movement - it sort of jerks up a little at a time, with a metallic whining noise only while it's actually lifting. does this sound like a pump issue - if so, does anyone know whether there's a direct replacement from any other Iseki as this machine is a grey import and no-one stocks the right parts here in the UK I don't think. All help greatly appreciated.

Try re seating the QD's.

Check the relief valve for trash in it.
