Fellow Iskei Owners: I have owned a TU180 for two years and have so enjoyed it. I sold it today to move up to a larger tractor. The new owner ran it for an hour and the engine crankcase overflowed with oil out the breather cap on the valve cover. I believe the hydraulic pump may have been loading down a bit and may have somehow sent fluid into the crankcase. It is possible he had the three point hitch up too high with the back scraper thus putting extra load on the pump. Two questions: Is there a relief valve or bypass valve in the pump that is not sealing?
Is the pump a gear driven model that is attached directly to front of the engine?
I will probably end up taking it back and repairing and re-selling. I am disappointed that he did not get to enjoy the ruggedness of the tractor that I had been experiencing.
Thanks to all for any assistance.
