The original manual for the Iseki tx1500 recommends sae 10w30 or sae 20 or 30 for the engine. Is it a problem if it is a modern oil which is synthetic? Anyone use something like 15w40?
Also the gear oil listed for the gear case and bevel case says sae 80 or 90. In fact the manual specifically says SAE 80 for the transmission case. Not sure if you can still get 80 so was thinking 90 would do.
Wondered again if a modern hypoid oil is ok or if I have to look for a vintage oil? Not sure if it makes any difference?
Thanks
