Hi all, I'm in the market for a utility tractor for my 225 acre cattle farm. I have an IH 1086 I use for pulling my batwing (though i'm thinking of selling it as it can get tippy on my hills). I need something to feed hay in the winter (1500lb bales) and pull a secondary bush hog (6' or 10') as needed. Here's my criteria:
Open station
prefer 4wd
loader
70+hp
6000lb without loader
2 remotes
Ford, New Holland, Kubota, MF in good shape, don't need a project. Looking at a New Holland 5030 but like the extra weight of the 56/66/76 40 series too.
$23k or less
if you have any ideas an older cab tractor to pull my 15' batwing on these hills id appreciate that too. $15k or under and I"m guessing I'm going to need 4wd and something not as tall as the IH 1086.
