Isolate MMM from 3pt hitch

Just purchased a box blade and currently learning how to use it. What I would like to know is it possible to lower the box blade without the Mid deck mower also going down. Have a bx 25 and a 54" mower deck

Raise the MMM to it's highest position then turn the depth knob to the "TOP" position. This basically locks the MMM in this position and it will not raise or lower w/the 3ph.
Be advised that some go into the top position easily while most don't. Someimes either keeping the 3ph lever in the raise position while simultaniously turning the knob works and/or lifting on the edge of the MMM in the high position while turning the knob to TOP works,
