Took the snow blade off and put the bucket back on. Parked the loader and weight box and put on the MMM mower. Took me a bit to do it but everything is installed correctly. Picked up the rear blade and brought it in the shop. Painted all the wear marks on her from sitting outside its whole life at the dealership. Also cleaned up the stand leg and got it so it will work much easier in the mount. Put the loader back on and and am heading to dinner. Pretty good day outside working with the tractor. My wife helped me out and she was working on cleaning up the welder (1960s IdealArc 250 AC) front panel. Pretty awesome day.

We're getting there too Mike. I took my blade off the other week for some other work with the tractor. Paid my boys ten cents each to bring in the driveway markers. Isn't child labor great. Still need some warmer weather, heard talk of snow showers tomorrow /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Low 30s in Wisconsin. Saw a robin with a vest. The frost is in the ground and spring will be delayed for a while. The wind is still cold. Hope for the 60s + in May.

We had Spring last Friday and Saturday, when the thermometer got up into the 60s. Brisk NW winds dried out the roads and fields pretty much, so I figured it was safe to take the chains off all three tractors.

Now the forecast for northern Vermont and along the Canadian border includes heavy rain, followed by 3" to 6" of snow! #%&*#!!

I just hope none of my neighbours slide off the road and expect me to pull 'em out! The only tractor with R1s has no brakes at the moment... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I put the brush hog on yesterday and did in some brush and briar patches. Can see into them and tell what's there, except I missed a big rock in one patch. There went my newly-sharpened blades.

Warm enough to do it nude now anyway.

Winter was over during a lot of jan and feb this year.
Took advantage of all those warm spring like days to get .6 acres grubbed.
I call Feb. 28th. the last day of winter around here.
I heard the frogs hollering on 3/ 26 so that makes it official.
