It sputtered on me today

my bx sputted twice on me...kind of like a gas motor with bad points....never quit and seemed to clear right back up.....
what you thing a little water in the fuel?

water? maybe. did you drain the filter housing? Change the filter? Add diesel conditioner? Clean the air filter(s)?

No I keep working...it did it about 3 times...Seems to run fine after that

You may have a flakey switch or connector that is causing the safety feature to momentarily stop the engine. There are switches on the seat and clutch and who knows where anymore.

There is not switch on my seat. Never has been from day one and I don't have a clutch.
Oh well if it quits it will not be as hard to frind the problem

My first thought was air in the fuel line.

I'd bet it's water in the fuel. Check the filters, you can probably see it in them. I had that exact problem on my BX2200, removed the filters, shook the water out & put back on. Each had maybe a tablespoon or so of water in it. Problem gone, hasn't returned.
