2 new pistons, 3 ring sets, 6 valves, worked the head, and the normal rebuild items, are what I did.
The first start wasn't as satisfying as I was expecting, until I found an injector feed line loose and dripping fuel. A quick turn of the wrench brought the idle up. The second start (even after cooldown) brought out a huge smile.
Where I before struggled for 10 minutes to get it started, it now starts in a couple of revolutions. And the power...I forgot what that was like.
