I've been lurking around, have posted a few messages, and I think it probably is time that I introduce myself.
I live in central Wisconsin and don't work anymore. I retired after working 41 years in a paper mill and I'm very happy to be away from that!
My hobbies are photography, wood working and just puttering around.

I heat my house 100% by a inside wood boiler and have no other heating system. I've heated with wood for probably 95% of my life.

I've got an old Ford Ferguson tractor with the serial number of: 9N7041 and I can still remember when my Dad drove it home from buying it used about 58 years ago. I did so many modifications to it over the years that it could never be restored to the original condition without throwing LOTS of money at it. Many year's ago I picked up a Dearboarn 19-23 loader from a guy who couldn't make it lift. So, I got the whole pile of pipe and bad welds for $50. Now there are more bad welds, and I'm having problems again, but most of the time it works and that is the main thing.

My other working "tractor/lawnmower" is my JD SST15. I love this machine and I cannot figure out why John Deere quit making them.

I've also built 3 different wood splitters over my lifetime and pictured somewhere on the board is the picture of my first one that could keep 5 men busy. (3 on the saw rig and 2 on the splitter.) After that one I downsized to just a splitter and then another that would flip in the vertical position. Last year I put a log lift on it to make it even easier on my and my Son's backs!
So, there you have it and I hope that I don't make anyone angry with my posts because sometimes I'm very opinionated! :D But, I will always try to help someone out if I can.
Thanks for having me!

Welcome to TBN Jim.
Strong opinions that oppose mine are welcome, but wrong ;)
I think you'll fit right in.:D

Welcome to the forum.
Which indoor wood boiler do you have? Or is it the RiteWay mentioned in on the forum a short while back? They were good stoves/boilers.
I have one out of N. MN, that has served well for 30+ years.

Yup, I have had the Riteway for about 30 years also. I wonder why they went out of business.

Here is a pic of mine (not a Riteway, but also went out of business). I've heard that Gov't regs require all indoor boilers to be steam certified, which makes it too expensive. Not sure why, because hot water heaters don't have to be, so why wood water heaters. And they have the relief valves same as hot water heaters. Go figure.
