Paul,

I think you will enjoy using that new monster. What prompted the new purchase, the BH? You have a nice compliment of machines there! Congrats!

Hey Paul that is a neat looking package, looking forward to hear how that chipper works out and the backhoe too. Take care.

Congrats on the new machine. Can't wait to see what modifications you have in store for it.

Thanks! Things are happening on the mods. Off work tomorrow so it will be a mod day ;)

Great pair!
I'm looking forward to the video on the chipper. I'd like to pick one up this Spring.

From what I've heard these chippers are supposed to be great. We'll soon find out. There's really not many good videos on them. I'm hoping to change that.

Ha. Ya that would be a good one as well. Thanks

Congrats on the new toy! Now you need some lights!!! :D

Hum. Lights:eek: That's a good idea. Thanks :D

Thank you. I needed a small machine with a back hoe and a chipper/shredder as well and the BX really suited the need.

Thanks James. I think it will work out well. Going to be tough getting used to the smaller machine but I think I will in time.

Wow, very nice, let the pimpn' begin. Since you got a nice little bh and a chipper, I'm assuming you're going to start using tractors year round. What's the main purpose for the BX?

Paul, even without the mods, it looks like you are set! But wait, I see one more thing you need: a third tractor, so you won't have to remove the backhoe to use the chipper! And a new pole barn, for inside storage.
The BX looks really well put together from you photos- a quality little machine!

It does take some time to acclimate. I hadn't been on one of our BX's in a year or more and when I got on one last fall to move it out of the way and put the FEL on, it really felt awkward. When I used them regularly, the transition was fairly smooth though. I think you will find plenty of uses for it.

Thanks Ken. Mod #1 will be shown later on today. Over the last 25 years when I'd trim one of our trees I'd throw the branches down on the back of our property. Well after awhile those branches have started to pile up and our summers are getting warmer all the time so I've become a little concerned about them as a fire hazard so that's where the chipper comes into play plus the fact I could use the workout

Good point my friend and I am considering a new building BUT when dealing with my wife I need to take baby steps. that way she might not catch on to what I'm up to ;)

The last time I operated a backhoe/excavator was a Cat 320 and the only thing they had in common was they both had a seat  That being said it is a cute little thing and I'm looking forward to using it. You'd be the one who would know how good they are because you got a few of them so I'm more than confident this one will work out fine. There's been so many people dropping by the shop to see it I think Kubota will have to put on another shift to keep up with the demand. :D
