It\'s been a good weekend so far....
Well, once again it pays to talk and listen. We just picked up some wood, metal, and more implements. The wood and metal was from some people that bought a small older farm and have been finding all sorts of "stuff" that they didn't want, namely, old wood from barns, etc.(they claim it's to hard to work with). and lots of miscellaneous metal, we still have to make another trip to pick up more stuff and a couple more large implements. The other implements (on the trailer) we hauled today was from another family that had a mother whose husband past away a while ago and just wanted to get rid of all the stuff with the exception of the tractor (it's the Ford behind the trailer). So all in all, it's been a good weekend so far. And why this is posted in the Build It Yourself forum is because after y'all take a look at what we've accumulated, I'm open to ideas as to what to do with all this "stuff" /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
And the cost for all this, minimal, plus gas and time!
I just love stoppin and talkin to people! It never ceases to amaze me what people have to say and what stories you hear and just what comes up in conversation.
I believe I read somewhere to love thy neighbor! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif or in song terms, if you can't be with the one you love, love the one your with. All I know is farming and tractor people are some pretty awesome people and I do respect them ever so highly.
And seems like everytime I talk to people I always end up saying, do you have access to the internet, have you been to TBN yet, it's so cool, blah, blah, blah! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
one tired driver but happy camper!
