It's Flooding down in Texas

Definite flash to Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Texas Flood"
There was about 4-5 Inches of rain in appox. 5 Hours Upstream
This creek is normally anywhere from dry to maybe 1 foot wide. The third video is of the recently completed (less than 6 months) Flood Control Channel.

the earth around these part is a either limestone, clay, or caliche. None of them will absorb much water at a time. So we get a lot of run off!
