Tractor
Kioti/DK35 SE HST
New here to the site, but this site helped me make up my mind. I have been researching tractors for a couple of years, test drove and played around with a few brands of tractors and I have decided to purchase a Kioti DK 35 SE HST. It will deliver in the morning and I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve. I am upgrading (and I mean upgrading) from a 8N Ford. It boiled down to the shuttle or the hydo, so I went to the dealer that I had been talking to and told him the delyma, he handed me a key and said to try them both so I did and the rest is history (well almost until in the morning).
I should say THANK YOU to all of the Kioti owners that helped me make up my mind. I have been finding reasons not to purchase a tractor for close to 15 years and I decided to take the plung after reading several of the threads on this site.

May I be the first to say "Welcome to the Pack!!" Congratulations!! I bet you'll have trouble sleeping tonight. I've had mine for a week and a half, and it feel like it's Christmas morning and I'm still opening the "gifts". That's quite a different machine from the 8N you got there, so take care to get the feel for it before you go gonzo. Best wishes and sweet dreams!

Thank You, I will be back to give a full report and maybe some pics if I can get the the camera and computer (it always fights me) to work with me this week-end. You are right, I probably won't sleep tonight, but it will be worth it.

Congratulations on your acquisition.

Wishing you many happy hours.

Wear your seatbelt and don't loose respect for the machine, much stronger than your old machine.

Don't forget your 50 hour service, changing the oils and filters for the first time is super important.

Sincerely,
Joel

I took delivery of my DK 35, 6 or 7 years ago and I still look forward to using it.
