Can someone educate me on the IVT transmissions? Are they durable with good life expectancy? Are they a good transmission for continued loader work or is a geared better for loader work? Any opinions pro & con are welcomed.

The IVT has been very reliable for us. We have sold quite a few in large frame 7000 and 8000 series tractors. Several have had 6000 plus hours pulling large tank spreaders with no failure aside from an occasional sensor. One of our stores did have a major failure under warranty at low hours but that is the only one. We have one 6000 series with a loader and several 7000 series with loaders with no problems. The IVT offers a lot of features that aren't all utilized with strictly loader work, but it has proven to be very reliable and capable for most any application.
