J Bar Corporation Disc

I was driving by the local salvage yard today and saw a trailer in line with what looked like a perfectly good disc on it. Stopped by and a barely used 8' 3pt disc was on back. I asked if he would sell it and we agreed to $250.00. Has anyone used this manufacturer and are their products any good. It's in perfect shape with zero wear, only surface rust. This is a picture of the same disc on their website.

Not familiar with them, but a 8' disk for that money in that shape it doesn't matter. You win if it only lasts a couple of years.

I don't know what steel is going for now, but he wouldn't have gotten over 100 for it as scrap. It is pretty heavy as the kubota m4050 won't lift it with the loader. The 3pt barely picks it up and pulling it engaged is not an option. Should be a good disc for the 5083.

I've been shopping for a light duty (cheap) used or new 5.5' disk. From the prices I've seen your purchase qualifies you as a felon. :thumbsup:
