J.D.750 fuel line

I replaced the injection pump on a non running 750 I bought.Went to blow out the steel injection lines and one was plugged.I ran a small wire from both ends and it stops at one of the bends in the line.I bought a used line from a salvage yard and it was stopped up in the same bend.Any experience or ideas short of buying a third line?

Have you tried compressed air? See if you can rig up a way to attach an air line from a compressor, but before putting air in it, I would squirt some PB Blaster in it and let it soak overnight. Most likely it's dirt that has gotten past the fuel filter that is clogging it up, penetrating fluid should be able to soak through it and help loosen it. That might be just enough to unclog it.

I have tried compressed air and soaking.I think it might be rust in the line,the clear lens on the fuel cap was cracked and there was water in the tank.That was the problem with the pump,it was froze up solid.

If it is rust, then you will almost certainly have to buy a new line from JD. I've had two JD 750's, great little tractor and enjoyed them both. Good luck!

Kebo,I finally used my head for something other than a hat rack.I was just pushing the wire by hand before,this time I pushed it in as far as it would go and took vise grips with about a 1/4 inch of play and kept bumping the plug and it busted thru.Cleaned out both lines.Looked like rust dust came out.Thanks for the reply.
